We offer two streams of after school youth climbing programs: Alpine and Beta.
All of our 9-week youth programs provide a complimentary membership for each participant for the duration of the program.
Rental gear is provided free of charge during program time.
All youth under the age of 13 must be actively supervised by an individual at least 16 years of age while in the facility outside of programming.
Have a youth who wants to climb all the time? Check out our Youth Program Membership!
Youth Program MembershipThis is the membership for youth who want to climb all year long!
AlpineThe Alpine stream is intended for participants who are new or beginner climbers and who wish to develop skills in a fun, social environment. This stream is more focused on the social aspect of climbing, fostering friendship and socialization through various climbing games and activities. We teach the basics of how the sport works and give participants a welcoming, engaging and fun space so they can be comfortable and confident while rock climbing as a group!
Each program is divided into 4 age groups; Approach (6-8), Crag (8-10), Crux (10-13), and Anchors (13+). This allows participants with similar ages to be grouped together allowing us to create an environment that continues to foster friendship and socialization!
BetaThe Beta stream is intended for participants who really want to improve rock climbing skills rather than simply climb with friends. Beta stream offers a more dialed focus on technique and strength building to create stronger climbers.
The Beta stream is divided into 4 levels where each level builds off of the foundations laid in the previous one. Each level has its own specific curriculum, covering topics from the fundamental principles of climbing to the specifics of body movement, while also incorporating some physical conditioning. The primary focus is still on creating a fun climbing experience, however in the Beta stream we emphasize learning in the pursuit of improvement!
